I note that in a recent edit, [[User:Michael Martinez|Michael Martinez]] removed the link to the "Tolkien Meta-FAQ" website that I maintain. I am very open to the suggestion that my site is not relevant in this article, but I think there are strong arguments to be made in its favor. In particular, the site is one authorized home for the widely respected "Tolkien FAQ" and "LessFAQ", which include substantial sections discussing Tolkien and his work. I'm restoring the link on that basis; if anyone disagrees, let's discuss it here.
At the same time, Mr. Martinez added a link to his own website at xenite.org. I'm sure it's a perfectly good site, but I think that the current summary could use a bit of NPOV work. But I'm not the one to fix that (or even to judge it, really): Mr. Martinez and I have in the past been on opposite sides of some rather intense debates, and I'm not sure that I'd trust either of us to be sufficiently "neutral" with respect to the other.--[[User:Steuard|Steuard]] 18:38, May 17, 2005 (UTC)
