I think we should make the definitions of odd and even functions more strict. My suggestions are:
<br>Let <math>f:A\to\mathbb{R}</math> where <math>A\subseteq\mathbb{R}</math> ƒ is even if and only if <math>f(x)=f(-x)</math> for all <math>x\in A</math>
<br>Similarily ƒ is odd if and only if <math>f(x)=-f(-x)</math> for all <math>x\in A</math>
