This account was created primarily as a means of correcting the occasional grammar, spelling and factual errors I happened to stumble across, but I appear to have accidentally let myself become more involved with the project than I originally intended. I don't have a particular specialist subject, but I tend to gravitate towards film and television articles in the wee hours.
Alphabeter is a user id that was coined by a multiple pseudonymned writer in 1987. It has been used nearly exclusively by her since the early days of the ISCABBS and eWorld in the late 1980s. It means "one who uses alphabets".
