: Hey if you don't like these references, add some, but I don't think that this article is biased overall. Plus you also seem to do cherry picking. The part about Quake2 is ''The Java 5.0 version performs better in '''some hardware configurations''' than its C counterpart''. And some other parts you did not pick: ''Performance of trigonometric functions can be bad compared to C'', ''JVMs still have scalability issues for performing intensive communication on a Grid Network'', ''Java memory usage is heavier than for C or C++'', ''Java startup time is often much slower than for C or C++''.
