'''Ridley''' is a fictional [[villain|villainous]] [[fictional character|character]] from the ''[[Metroid series|Metroid ]]'' [[video game]] [[franchise]]. His appearance is similar to that of a [[dragon]], leading some people to refer to him as a '[[space]] dragon'. However, Ridley notably possesses a single crest on his [[head]], instead of the pair of [[horn (anatomy)|horn]]s often seen on dragons. This makes him somewhat similar to a [[pterodactyl]], not counting his extra pair of front [[limb]]s with [[hand]]s. Also, in many games in the ''Metroid series'', Ridley changes his color and form. An example would be in [[Metroid Fusion]] Ridley becomes blue, and in [[Metroid Prime]] he becomes "Meta Ridley" (the space pirates made him into a "cyborg dragon").
