WQKE, The Quake is broadcast on 93.9 FM in [[Plattsburgh (city), New York|Plattsurgh]], NY[[New York]]. The station is supported by the Student Association of the University. The stations studios is located in Yokum Hall on campus and the antenna is located on the Kehoe Administration Building, which is one of the tallest buildings in Plattsburgh. The station streams their radio online off of their website. The station broadcasts from 8 AM - 2:30 AM. The stations places a variety of music including Indie, Punk, Urban, Blues, Techno and many other music genres.

In December of 1971, the station began a move to the FM frequency and became WPLT, at this point the AM channel still broadcast the station.
 
In 1979, the station began to air off campus and aired on WPLT 91.1 and became[http://www.example.com link title] a 10 Watt Frequency. In 1981, the frequency was changed to 93.9.
 
In 1987, the station moved from McDonough Hall to Yokum Hall where the colleges communication department was located.
