Warren Murphy ([born in [[Jersey City]], [[New Jersey]], [September 13]], [[1933]]) is the co-creator of the Destroyer series. He has published many books, perhaps the best known of which are the novels in "The Destroyer" series. These spy novels were the basis for the film "Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins", and he also wrote the story for "Lethal Weapon 2".

Murphy was born in Jersey City, New Jersey.
