'''The Human Beinz''' were an American rock band from [[Youngstown, Ohio]], originally known as '''The Human Beings'''. They began their professional career with a devoted local fanbase, recording covers of songs by [[Them (band)|Them]], [[Yardbirds]], [[The Who]] and [[Bob Dylan]].The group was also the first to record "The Pied Piper" which later became a hit for Crispian St.Peter. The groups reputation was as Masters of song cover interpetations. They signed to [[Capital Records]] in [[1967]] and released "Nobody but Me", a cover of the [[Isley Brothers]] and their most well-known single. They released ''[[Nobody but Me]]'' that year and ''[[Evolutions (album)|Evolutions]]'' the following year, but the band broke up soon after that. In 1968 the groups recording of "Turn on your lovelight" was No#1 for six weeks in Japan and a tour followed. Quentin Tarrantino in 2004 used "Nobody But Me" on his sound track for Kill Bill Vol.2. The Human Beinz and "Nobody But Me" are also featured on two compilation C.D.s'"ESPNs' The Greatest Crowd-Rockin' Anthems of all time" and J&R's Music Worlds'Rock and Rolls Greatest Hits of All Time". The group is continueing in 2006. They have made a soon to be released album titled "Garage Vol.1". The album is a tribute to the one hit wonder groups of the 1960's. It is produced and engineered by The Human Beinz new members Professor Ed McCarthy and Sal Crisafi. The album C.D. was recorded at Cloud Nine Studios in Little Meadows Pa. The Human Beinz are back on the concert scene with a powerhouse live show. The group recently Headlined in Concert at The Hard Rock Cafe at Foxwoods Casino in Conn. On December 15,2005 The Human Beinz were the only Rock and Roll Band present at The rededication ceremony of The World Famous Apollo Theatre on Harlems 125th street. The Main speaker was former President Bill Clinton. The former U.S. President also chatted with new Human Beinz Keyboardist Sal Crisafi. In February 2006 The Human Beinz will be performing in concert at a Mardi Gras festival at Bodles Opera House in Chester N.Y. The group will be playing other select concert dates in 2006.
