It is debated as to whether or not what the movement seeks can be described in every respect as “equal rights”. I cannot see how the slight change in the phrasing I edited can be seen as anything other than an effort to support the NPOV policy.
:It's not so much your choice of wording as the article itself — as you can imagine, articles dealing with hot issues are often vandalized or altered in strongly POV ways, so when monitoring for these changes, some of us have a tendency to be a little more careful in determining if an edit is legit or not. That's the reason why I posted here, and your response (and other edits to the page) show that you clearly have good intentions of contributing to the article. Thanks for the explanation.
