::I gave a shot at editing the first two images. I think they came out less blurry and bloomy. In the "young" image I also fixed some scratches and tears. I reduced the Moiré patterns in the third image somewhat, but not entirely (the image is in Commons with the same name).

::By the way, presuming you scanned these 3 images by yourself, could you perhaps re-scan them (if necessary) and upload them in higher resolution? :::Unfortunately, I don't have access to a scanner. The images were taken from Google books, though I also have a copy of ''Brother Musicians'' as a reference for the article.
