The Indian Writings staff camp is located in the North Ponil canyon. The main program offered here is the petroglyph tour. The petroglyphs featured on the tour were created by the Anasazi who historically occupied the canyon. There are other petroglyphs all over the canyon created by te Anasazi and the Jiccarilla Apache.
