Gli episodi di variabilità hanno un' andamento pressoché [[sinusoide|sinusoidale]] con un periodo di 4,865 giorni. L'ampiezza della variazione si modifica lentamente nel corso del tempo: nella [[sistema fotometrico UBV|banda V]] è stata di circa 0,3 [[magnitudine assoluta|magnitudini]] nel [[1971]], mentre dagli [[anni 1980|anni ottanta]] si è ridotta ad appena 0,1 magnitudini.<ref>{{cita pubblicazione|autore = C.
