I feel that authors of NeuroElectroDynamics are right. How is temporal information stored in the brain? In order to replicate their measurements one has to perform invivo experiments and to insert four electrodes close to the cell. Many recordings use single electrodes. The mathematical model is one thing, their experiment shows patterns in spikes.
