There exdits no historical evidence whatsoever to top support the theory of Kuntz et al that the Cypher Manuscripts were developed by the "Society of Eight." All that is certain is that they were obtained by the GD founders by MacKenzie. Indeed, it is equally as likely that the manuscripts were obtained by MacKenzie from Continental Rosicrucian sources, albeit not from Anna Sprengel.
