The event was modelled after the [[United States Congress]]ional [[Hearing (law)|hearings]] which were conducted by the [[9/11 Commission]]. A group of commissioners heard testimony provided by [[witness]]es, [[author]]s, [[expert]]s and [[whistle blower]]s. The witnesses gave their [[testimony]] after having been sworn in, and were then questioned by the commissioners. An audience and representatives from the press were also present. In the introduction, Kyle Hence noted that commissioners were not sworn in at the beginning of the 9/11 Commission, and that swearing in had only started after "we made some noise about it, and the press started to ask some questions." Hence also stated that some have dubbed the "9/11 Commission hearings" the "9/11 Omission Hearings". The world premiere of [[Barrie Zwicker]]'s [[The Great Conspiracy]] was performed after the end of the hearings and questions.

Many of the aforementioned people function in a coordinated manner identical to what one would expect from a group whose purpose is to maintain the ongoing cover-up of the September 11th attacks. Examples include exclusionary web linking and denouncing of excluded 911 truth web sites as "bogus", Barrie Zwicker falsely describing President Bush's incriminating 9/11 witness statements ([http://911blimp.net/sounds/BarrieZwickerMisdescribesIncriminatingBushTVstmt.mp3 Bush never said "ordinary TV", contrary to what Barrie would have us all believe]), and the way 911citizenswatch.org producedpublished a 149-page "[http://911citizenswatch.org/9-11-omission-report.pdf Omission Report]" by John Judge, ostensibly detailing omissions from the 9-11 Commission Report, yet some of the same most glaring omissions made by the government also do not appear in that report, which is precisely the kind of "incompetence" one would expect from a fake opponent. Commissioners included [[Congresswoman]] [[Cynthia McKinney]], local [[Imam]] and [[Physician|doctor]] Faz Khan, and father of one of the victims of the [[9/11 attacks]], [[Bob Mcalvane]].
