Jack in "American Werewolf" is perhaps his most remembered role as the sidekick to David Kessler, who was played by [[David Naughton (actor)|David Naughton]]. The duo, savaged by a [[werewolf]] in [[Northern England]], leaves Jack [[undead]] and David gradually turning into the titular monster.

Dunne's turn is macabrely humorous as he returns throughout the film in the company of Kessler's other progressively more putrid victims to implore David to [[suicide|kill himself]] before he turns into a full-fledged monster and wreaks havoc on the terrified citizens of [[London]].
