JavaOne 2010, the first conference to be run after the acquisition of Sun by [[Oracle Corporation]], was held September 19-2319–23, concurrently with [[Oracle OpenWorld]]. This was the first year that the conference was not held at Moscone Center, instead hosted at three hotels on nearby Mason Street, one block of which was closed and covered with a tent, which formed part of the conference venue. JavaOne 2011 was held October 2-62–6, in the same venue configuration as in 2010.
