All incarnations of the HTC Wizard except the [[i-mate]] K-Jam come shipped with the 802.11g wireless mode disabled. You may re-enable it by using any [[Windows Mobile]] compatible software that supports registry editing such as 'Total Commander CE' (tip: to browse the registry, set the ___location to '\\\registry\').

You would simply need to find add a [[Dword]] named dot11SupportedRateMaskG with a [[Decimal]] value of 8 HTC Wizard Has it or add it for the IMate K-Jam to the following ___location in your HTC Wizard's registry:
