In Olympiakos, under the direction of Italian coach Bigón he made easily his way in the first team where he formed a great tandem with [[Zlatko Zahovic]] and Brazilian star [[Giovanni]], even relegating Greek goal scorer[[Alekkos Alexandris]] to the bench. Although he gotseverely injoured, following his [karma]] he managed to score many decissive goals which made him one of the most loved ones. He won both [[2000]] and [[2001]] titles with the Red and Whites before returning the following year to Italy, notably to [[Inter Milan]] where he could not settle down and was constantly loaned to other minor teams.
