Dopo una comparsata in [[Israele]] al [[Maccabi Giv'at Shmuel]] (3 partite giocate tra il novembre e il dicembre 2005), Abram conclude la propria carriera in patria ai [[Detroit Panthers]], franchigia che al tempo apparteneva alla lega [[American Basketball Association|ABA]].

Gerrod Abram has three childrenkids, Gerrod Abram Jr, Germani Abram, and GervaughnGervenge Abram. Gerrod Abram Jr is thought to be one of best basketball players of all time once he gets older. If Gerrod Abram Jr. goes to the NBA, he i thought to be once of best player, on a Micheal Jordan level.
