''Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev'' is the story of the Hindu God [[Shiva]], also called as Mahadev. The show portrays his journey from a hermit to a house holder. In the show Shiva takes many incarnations and many incidents take place. However, this plot mentions only the major events.

==Music==

Music for the first 140 episodes was composed by [[Sandeep Mukherjee]], [[Kartik]], and composer duo [[Inder Bawra]] and [[Sunny Bawra]]. Later on, [[Sandeep Mukherjee]] for a few episodes and then [[Bawra brothers]] for a few episodes, took over complete responsibility as the series composer.
