Moving a page: consolidate the edit of 06:22, 1 March 2013
Line 11:
To move a page:

* Check to see if there are any interlanguage links. If you see an 'Edit links' link at the bottom of the list of links you will also need to update the Wikidata item associated with the page.
* Click the "move" link at the top of the page you would like to move.
** Note: sometimes you can see this button only if you put your mouse over the drop-down arrow to the right of the "Edit" and "View history" buttons
Line 18 ⟶ 17:
* Enter the new name of the page under "To new title". Give a reason for the move.
* If the page has a discussion page, you will be asked if you want to move that as well; usually, you will.
* Check to see if there are any interlanguage links. If you see an 'Edit links' link at the bottom of the list of links you will also need to, update the Wikidata item associated with the page.
* Update the Wikidata item if needed.

Moving the page will also create a redirect from the old title to the new title. If you are simply renaming the page, this ensures that links to the page continue to work.
