Recently i accepted an article that contained a large amount of "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scutellum_%28insect_anatomy%29 scutellum" style links to Wikipedia pages. Instead of converting them into wikilinks it seems to add three leading square brackets and one trailing square bracket.
