I suppose to add some information about MDF file format, which doesn't relate to disk format like ISO. For e.g. there is an MDF file format for MSSQL database server file. [[:Mirror Disk File]] → {{no redirect|Media Descriptor File}} – No sources ever use the name "Mirror Disk File", but most sources I found use "Media Descriptor File".
