THE GREEK NATURAL MINERAL WATER'''==
===The natural sparkling mineral water===
The SOUROTI natural water bubbles up from the homonymous historical spring which, according to the scientists is estimated to have a depth of approximately 150 m, which is considered to be ideal for "mineral" springs.
The speed of the water in the subsoil is slow and as it flows through different rock-layers, on the one hand is filtered and on the other is enriched with useful ingredients, which give to it its special mineral composition and its distinct taste.
In the spring, the water is cool, with stable temperature of approximately 16 oC, and its quality remains inalterable through the years.
With 1350 mg dissolved mineral solids per litter it is classified as one of the most enriched "mineral" waters in the world, taking into account that for a water to be recognized as "mineral" according to the Greek and European legislation are required 500 mg per litter.
It contains 155 mg Calcium and 52,5 mg Magnesium. It is extremely digestible, refreshing and digestive, it regularizes the function of the digestive and urinary system, it has beneficial properties for the nervous system, the muscles and preventively for certain types of cancer.
One litter of SOUROTI replaces the 1/4 of the human organism' s need for calcium and magnesium. It also contains Potassium (13,5), Sodium (62,5), Fluorine (0,2) as well as valuable micronutrients such as Iron, Copper, Magnesium, Lithium, Selenium, Chromium, Zinc that have a positive impact on the human organism.
The SOUROTI water has been recognized as Natural Mineral Water, calcic, magnesian, subacid, acidulous carbonated, according to the Greek legislation (Gov. Gazette 1/8/1991, issue 600, no. 4).
It is also included in the European Union list of Natural Mineral Waters.
SOUROTI contains no calories, or conservative additives and is the only naturally carbonated water in Greece.
This means that it differs from "soda", which is common potable water with added sodium bicarbonate (so that is acquires qualities about similar to those of the Natural Mineral Water) and its not taken in that state from nature as SOUROTI does.
But it does differ from all the remaining waters which belong to the category of carbonated waters with reference to its inalterable quality through the years - studies have proven that its "mineral" substance is identical to that of 1914, when the first analysis was carried out, because nature enriches it so much (with micronutrients and metals) so that it becomes unique.
Therefor, in the case of SOUROTI, we can say that once more that
