[[Charlie Nozawa]], the artist who created the comics, is known in Japan by the pen name Tamakichi Sakura. Kentaro Takekuma was responsible for the story, which follows [[Mario]] and [[Luigi]] as they attempt to rescue [[Princess Peach]] after she is abducted by [[Bowser]] with intent to marry her.
