:The category tree is quite simple - you might explore it through [[:category:Lithuania]] and it's subcategories and sub sub categories. I've made some changes, to make it similar to other coutries categories. IMO this is about enough, just some explanation is needed, and I might even write it in some time. They're quite easy to create - no request is needed.
:Asessment is good thing, just IMO it's a bit early to think about it. Importance - yes, it would be really helpfull, also template indicating that this article belongs to WP:LIT is good thing (or should we wait untill this WP will get official status?).
