'''Rus'''' (Русь, {{IPA2|rusʲ}}, Русичи, Русы, 'uomini che remano' negli antichi dialetti scandinavi) è un termine introdotto durante l'[[Alto Medioevo]] per indicare le popolazioni dell'[[Europa orientale]] che vivevano nelle regioni che attualmente fanno parte di [[Ucraina]] e [[Russia]].

Oggi il territorio storico deldella ''[[Rus' di Kiev]]'', forma parte dei territori dell'[[Ucraina]], della [[Bielorussia]], della [[Russia]], una piccola parte del nord-est della [[Slovacchia]] e una striscia di terra della [[Polonia]] dell'Est.

La natura, l'origine e l'identità dei Rus' sono ancora molto discusse.
