So-called Ambedkarite concept is not applied to particular Religion such as Hindu, Christen, Or Buddhist. "According to the 2001 census, there are currently 7.95 million Buddhists in India i.e.0.8 % of total population of India, at least 5.83 million of whom are Buddhists in Maharashtra." This is the only MINORITY Population of Buddhists in India. Compared to 1951 census the percentage increase compared to any other Religion such as Hindu OR Muslim the [[Buddhist]] population in India growing fast. Especially because of religious conversion. In 2006 thousands of people have converted to Buddhism and International Media such as BBC and may others have given proper news about it.
