Thatme314 asserted in an edit https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Cumulative_distribution_function&oldid=904343161...

"In the case of a continuous distribution, it gives the area under the probability density function from minus infinity to <math>x</math>, and is a logistic distribution. Cumulative distribution functions are also used to specify the distribution of multivariate random variables."

Am I misunderstanding what is meant here? The obvious reading is clearly wrong, but perhaps there is a less obvious reading that I am missing. Best clase, it still needed clarification so I deleted it.
