A person with cholangitis may complain of [[abdominal pain]] (particularly in the [[right upper quadrant (abdomen)|right upper quadrant]] of the [[Human abdomen|abdomen]]), [[fever]], [[rigor (medicine)|rigors]] (uncontrollable shaking) and a feeling of uneasiness ([[malaise]]).
