*Near the end of Lisey's Story, we're given a small factoid about Dooley: he was born in Shooter's Knob, Tennessee. In 1990's Secret Window, Secret Gardent, Mort Rainey is confronted by a man named Shooter ''from'' Tennessee; in the end, we realize that Shooter is a mental facet, named and originated so due to Mort's ex-wife's new husband, who grew up in Shooter's Knob.
