A template is available to render consistently. The above example is coded with the template syntax <tt><nowiki>{{tlx|sup|2}}</nowiki></tt> rather than <tt><nowiki><&lt;sup>&gt;2<&lt;/sup></nowiki>&gt;</tt> or the special Unicode superscript digit '²'.
