This name is vague to me, since I've seen semi-implicit Euler to mean many things. Some people call any IMEX semi-implicit Euler, e.g. This is the first time I've seen it used for symplectic Euler. Indeed the name is overloaded. At the very least this page should warn readers that there are a large group of people who use this term to mean something else.
