|concern = I think this article should be replaced with a disambiguation page. As it is, I don't think it will ever become a very useful article because it merely contains short, jargon-rich and context-poor descriptions of members of a very heterogeneous class of stars. Each individual type of irregular variable deserves a decent article of its own, but having an article like this just seems confusing to me.
