'''Cyrus Poncha''' is currently the [[India|Indian]] [[Squash (sport)|Squash]] coach. He is based in [[Chennai]], and coaches at the [[ICL-TNSRA Academy]] though originally from [[Bombay]]. Today, India is among the emerging countries in squash especially on the world junior circuit. Cyrus was a national level player during his junior days.
He won the [[Dronacharya Award]] from the Government of India in 2005 in recognition for the development of the squash talent in the country. At the announcement of his award most of the squash community in Mumbai were jealous and made a lot of unnecessary noise. However given the fact that Cyrus' wards have kept on winning and due their own internal problems they have not been able to do much damage to the sport
