The ref part you may be referring to says "KRYPTON developed mainly out of work on KL-ONE"; assuming it's an actual derivative, whilst not wholly unlikely, isn't necessarily obvious. The prose of this article is 1 sentence just stating that it is/was a language, so I am unsure what knowledge is preserved. If I thought a merge would benefit, I'd have done that instead of an AfD.
