The website archive.org has the full text of the book/source which is listed above. However, archive.org is blocked on the computer which I am using. Is it possible for someone else here to please download this book/source (all you need to do is copy and paste the title of this thread, use it to do a Google search, and it should the the first Google search result) and to post it here so that I can download it myself? Thank you very much. Futurist110 (talk) 23:28, 11 April 2014 (UTC)
:For the record, if this makes any difference in regards to this, the author of this book/source is David Hunter Miller. Futurist110 (talk) 23:29, 11 April 2014 (UTC)

Yesterday I was looking at an article in the 27 August 2005 online Financial Times – "A family business for 400 years", http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/baeb5b70-1696-11da-8081-00000e2511c8.html#axzz302HeO5u7 that has now hidden itself behind a paywall. Can someone help, please? I am working on R. Durtnell & Sons. --Thincat (talk) 08:54, 27 April 2014 (UTC)

::Oh, so I can, and I now have done. Don't know how I missed that. That's actually more useful than sending me a copy. Thank you. Thincat (talk) 14:18, 27 April 2014 (UTC)

I don't know the title of the article, but it should mention Habroptila wallacii, the Invisible Rail. The citation I have is Gray,G R 1861 Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London ["1860"] Pt(28)3 p.365 pl.172 Thanks, <

Lots of early issues of this journal are available at archive.org. Zerotalk 11:07, 12 May 2014 (UTC)

I'm trying to improve this article, and D Watling (1983) "Ornithological notes from Sulawesi" Emu 83(4) 247-261 doi:10.1071/MU9830247 would be useful, thanks <

Nuthatch
resolved
Each of the following references a nuthatch Sitta subspecies, which I have placed before the reference. In each case, I need the article title (in Cyrillic for the Russian ones if possible, with a translation), and a link to the article if one exists. All but one should be out of copyright, but my lack of Russian has made it hard for me to find the articles. Thanks <

::::Thanks, I'll try that <
::::: yeah, I went digging into worldcat for this one -- "Зоологический институт академии наук СССР" is the department/publisher, not the title; they publish something called "Fauna USSR" (Фауна СССP) but I couldn't make the volumes line up. No luck, though the author was prolific and wrote a 4-volume guide to passerines that might be helpful. -- phoebe / (talk to me) 00:06, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
I don't know if these are incredibly rare in English language libraries or that Worldcat does a poor job with foreign language resources, but I was only able to find one of the above items listed there at a single institution, Наша Охота in the British Library. :::Thanks to all for trying, I'm actually surprised that I found links for so many of the 23 subspecies. The article concerned has gone through FL now since it's as complete as it realistically can be, so anything else would just be a bonus <
