Daniel beams to the Ori ship and asks Carter and Teal’c how the plan is progressing, but they refuse to answer. He turns to Adria and fires a blast which knocks her unconscious. Daniel reveals he had the Anti-Prior device behind his back which prevented Adria from activating her personal shield. He tells Carter that O’Neill is on the ''Odyssey''. Daniel, now weak, gets to the command chair and tells Carter and Teal’c to arm the ancient device. They take out the guards, and with Vala and Mitchell, arm the device. Daniel moves the other Ori ship away from the gate and tells O’Neill to contact the ''Daedalus'' and execute the plan. The super-gate shuts down and Daniel re-opens the gate and directs the Ori ship towards the wormhole. SG-1 returns to Daniel, finding him unconscious and no longer a Prior. Carter tells O’Neill to beam them over. Vala worries about Adria as they leave her behind. The Ori ship enters the wormhole and the gate shuts down.
In the infirmary of the ''Odyssey'' Daniel awakes, O’Neill says, “Hey sleepy head.” Daniel convinces O' Neill he no longer has Merlin's consciousness within him. The team ponders whether the device worked or not. Carter informs everyone the super-gate just started dialing and it soon activates. On the bridge, the entire team watchs as a number of Ori ships come through. Mitchell comments that, “In the long run, it could be our only chance to win the war” as the
