This article is simply the expanded version (per [[WP:Summary style]]) of [[Vector space#Examples]]. The content in the separate article is just as encyclopedically relevant as the content in that section. There's nothing there there that's didactic, so I can't see how it could be a case of [[WP:NOTTEXTBOOK]]; if it were, then that consideration would equally well apply to the section in the main article.
