:Logically, it makes sense to say what the person should do if they contest the revert first. If they don't have something to say to you, the next logical step is ''why'' did you revert me? That's where WP:EL comes in. Anyway, I think your suggestion would work fine, though I would like it if it said something like, "Please take a look at our guidelines about links, for reference".
