Why is the main University of Alabama simply at University of Alabama, while this does not get to be at University of Tennessee? Shouldn't we have a uniform standard on this? john k 06:33, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Over the past two days, I've progressively undertaken an effort to rename and redirect pages associated with the UT system to reflect correct nomenclature as defined by the university itself. It's for that reason that:

*University of Tennessee at Knoxville initially hosted the article, briefly redirected to The University of Tennessee, Knoxville and now points to the article's correct ___location at University of Tennessee.
*University of Tennessee at Memphis's article was moved to University of Tennessee Health Science Center with redirects placed appropriately.
*University of Tennessee Space Institute is coming soon.
*University of Tennessee System is now located at University of Tennessee system.
*Associated abbreviations (UT System, UT system, UT Knoxville, UTK, and UT) now redirect correctly.

Feel free to follow up behind me and make sure I've not goofed. Thanks. - Basileus 13:11, 10 Feb 2004 (UTC)
