Dan Harkless (talk | contribs) Always trying to make shortdesc as compact as possible, to try to stave off some jackass coming in and replacing it with a nearly information-free one like simply "Windows subsystem". However, gotta make this one a little longer to clarify that the 16-bit WoW layer isn't present on 64-bit versions of Windows: «Subsystem for 32-bit Windows for running 16-bit Windows programs». (Similarly had to expand «apps» to «programs» previously, since Apple + Microsoft stole/redefined the old abbreviation.) |
