Another use, mainly in the [[British Army]], and possibly in other [[Commonwealth of Nations|Commonwealth]] militaries, is as the section of the [[army]] (usually) that comprises of either traditional [[cavalry]] (i.e. people on horses) or [[armor]] (modern cavalry). The British Cavalry Wing became defunct in [[1939]], with the advent of the [[Royal Armoured Corps]].
