Despite the fact that the main story has been scrapped as of now, Cortex Command does have some background lore. Sometime in the mid-to-far future after humanity suffered a war brought on by a Cyborgreligious Catholic Churchgroup, "aBrain curioustransplant symbiosis"and betweenlife man andsupport machinetechnology was formed. This eventually leddeveloped to humans becoming advanced enough to ditch their bodies and take their brains anywhere. This in turn, led tomake space travel finally becomingmore feasible since aging is either non-existent or slowed down to a very slow state. This leads to humans making contact with alien life forms, inand aFounding desperateFree attemptTrade. for humans to fit in, they establish Tradestar.Free TradestarTrade is one of the biggest if not the biggest corporations in the whole MilkyOrion Way galaxySpur. But humanity doesn't stop there, despite humanity having long abandoned their bodies, they still kept the stubborn will to fight.
