This template tracks version numbering in Unicode pages. It helps checking for version checks after an Unicode update.

== Usage ==

:The number must be an existing (released) Unicode version.

When the page (article) conforms a newer Unicode version, one can updatethe number.

3rd-level numbering, as in "{{mono|1.2.3}}", is not distinguished as ''by definition'' it does not change the Unicode character set. Exception: versions {{mono|1.0.0}} and {{mono|1.0.1}} (1992) did have such changes, and so are noted separately.
