*:Dicklyon See the previous discussion above. Basically every discussion on this page is about this issue. You can also read the doc of the template. In short, the template was set-up by author to a include specific Unix-spec commands but bears a general name. Renaming should fix this confusion. AXONOV (talk) ⚑ 11:11, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
*::So it's already limited to the Single Unix Specification? And that's the only system entitled to use the Unix trademark? I don't see why we'd need to change the template title then. But I'll withdraw my "oppose" if I see more reasoned support. Dicklyon (talk) 01:43, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
* Oppose I agree in part with the 'solution looking for a problem', but have another concern. These commands are typically not limited to the "Single UNIX Specification" or even UNIX as such, even though that is a defining parameter for inclusion. Though less informative on surface, might be useful to consider :Template:Universal SUS Commands or :Template:Universal SUS Programs; these emphasize the universality of the command set, which is on key feature of the set. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 00:30, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
