Il termine '''sexploitation''' o '''exploitation sessuale''' descrive un genere di film prodotti indipendentemente, a basso [[budget]], diffusi negli [[anni 1960|anni sessanta]], il cui scopo principale era l'esibizione di situazioni sessuali esplicite e di [[nudismo|nudità]] gratuite. Il termine è spesso usato per indicare un sottogenere dell'[[film d'exploitation|exploitation]], che veniva mostrato nelle "[[film d'exploitation#Il cinema delle grindhouseGrindhouse|grindhouse]]". I film sono considerati i precursori degli [[pornografia|hardcore]] [[anni 1970|anni settanta]]. Dopo la legalizzazione dell'hardcore, il genere è stato rinominato "[[softcore]]".
