==Release==
The film was earlier scheduled to be released in May 2020, but after the [[COVID-19 pandemic]] surged in India the release was postponed. Moorthy was adamant that the film should be released in theatres first as many of the film's crew were debutantes and the production company, V Cinemas International, seconded his dream even in the pandemic situation. ''Operation Java'' was released in theatres on 12 February 2021.
