Benvenuto Wikiwikius, unfortunately I do not speak Italian. I have seen that you added the place of death in Anthony James, citing a "reference" from repubblica.it. You do understand, that this information is not verified for sure? The first source to report on James death was https://www.tributearchive.com/obituaries/14759859/Anthony-James. The Hollywood reporter mentioned this in https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/anthony-james-dead-actor-unforgiven-heat-night-was-77-1296310 as "posted by a funeral home in Cambridge, Massachusetts". That is not necessarily the place of death. Unfortunately all other sources copied the information from there and it already made it's way to IMDb. But I think as a wikipedian we need to scrutinize sources more deeply. What is now happening is that an unverified information is spread all through the web. Anyhow, I'll not go into an edit war about this. I just want to let you know that it may not be correct, even if its in repubblica. :) Best, --NiTenIchiRyu (msg) 08:29, 30 mag 2020 (CEST)
:NiTenIchiRyu You have a point but respectfully I'm not as confident that www.tributearchive.com is a more reliable source than Repubblica. Repubblica is one of the most important newspaper in Italy. Moreover it's not our job to investigate where relevant sources get their news. Just cite. Anyway you know that our rule is consensus. The better you can do is to make you proposal in the page talk.--Wikiwikius (msg) 08:42, 30 mag 2020 (CEST)

::Thank you for your feedback. The point is not, that tributearchive.com is "more reliable" than Repubblica. God beware. It is not. I know that Repubblica is Italy's most important newspaper. :) In this case the online obituary was the first source and THR was the first news outlet to report, citing tributearchive.com. Please note that none of these two sources specifically mentions the place of death. All other sources only have their basic infos from these two sources. I've seen this process a hundred times in the last years. Unfortunately even important newspapers such as Repubblica are under cost pressure and entertainment news is not the most important department. So go figure, who wrote this article. :) And it is not our job to "investigate where relevant sources get their news" but it is everyones job who is dealing with information - what wikipedians do all the time - to scrutinize, assess and review information. There are billions of false informations everywhere in the web, in books and in newspapers. So you cannot simply use an information because its "there". Also as a wikipedian you need to assess and double check with other sources, if that's really correct. And in this case it may be correct but is not 100 % verified. And such information should really not find the way into our articles. By the way, I deleted it from all language versions and the Italian one is currently the only one where this edit was not accepted. :) Anyhow, I said what I had to say.
